With a recent tweet from a Star Wars: The Clone Wars voice actor in-mind, many believe that the 10th-anniversary panel for the animated series could finally debut a proper and long-awaited finale.
Dee Bradley Baker voiced every single Clone Trooper in the animated series - which means fan-favourite characters like Captain Rex and Fives. Baker recently took to Twitter to share an excitement inducing tease for the show's upcoming panel at San Diego Comic-Con.
The Clone Wars was set between the events of Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, Episodes 2 and 3 of the Star Wars saga respectively. The animated series managed to morph the underwhelming prequel-era of the saga into a beloved story of Master and Padawan - one much more reminiscent of what Obi-Wan Kenobi described during the first Star Wars film back in 1977.
Disney's purchase of Lucasfilm in 2012, unfortunately brought about the unceremonious end of Star Wars: The Clone Wars - even before a final season and proper send-off could be finished. So, keep in mind that Baker may well be teasing something totally different, but fans (who he addressed) would no doubt be incredibly appreciative if a legitimate finale were to be released.
What do you think about Baker's tease? Would you like Star Wars: The Clone Wars to receive an actual send-off?
