Sabine Wren was a member of the Ghost crew who sparked a rebellion against the Empire in the animated Star Wars Rebels series. Making Star Wars recently reported that Sabine's recognisable helmet has been spotted on the set of, the upcoming live-action Star Wars series, The Mandalorian

According to the report; The Mandalorian is using “cutting edge technology to bring the cost of rendering real time visual effects down exponentially.” The tech basically allows real-time CGI to be previewed on monitors, thereby allowing allowing the on-set crew to instantly see how a visual effect will look - without having to wait for VFX artists to render it.

It's within this CGI that the report's source claims to have spotted the fan-favourite character's iconic helmet. This seems to suggest that Sabine might show up at some point during the series. Some have even gone as far as to speculate that, recently announced cast member, Gina Carano may be playing the Mandalorian badass.

Though there is a chance that the source simply mistook another Mandalorian's helmet for Sabine's - given how similar they look - or perhaps the CG helmet is simply being placed within a scene as an Easter Egg for fans.

What do you think of the report's claims? Would you like to see Sabine show up in The Mandalorian?
