The original animated comedy series from Writer and Executive Producer of Rick and Morty, Star Trek: Lower Decks, is set to be released on Blu-ray and DVD May 18th with a limited edition steelbook that will include all 10 episodes. The collection will include hours of exclusive special features, including the "Lower Decktionary," a multi-part exploration of the series' music, art design, animation and more. It will also include interviews with the voice cast, deleted scenes, extended scenes, and a fan-forward exploration of many of the Easter eggs that appear in the seris.
Star Trek: Lower Decks is the first animated Star Trek series in over 40 years. Its focus is on the support crew serving on one of Starfleet's *least* important ships, the U.S.S. Cerritos, in 2380. Voice talent for the season one include Tawny Newsome (Space Force), Jack Quaid (The Boys), Eugene Cordero (Kong: Skull Island), Noël Wells (Master of None), Dawn Lewis (The Rich & the Ruthless), Jerry O'Connel (Billions), Fred Tatasciore (American Dad), and Gillian Vigman (New Girl).
