When it comes to television shows being divisive or hitting the right buttons, no one does it with such grace as Trey Parker and Matt Stone's South Park. Since its premiere in the 90s, the series has shown time and again that nothing is off-limits.
From 9/11 to the 2016 election, every topical situation in the world has been satirized somehow by the series. Now, with the series returning at the end of the month, they are about to tackle another hot button topic; COVID-19.
Confirmed by Comedy Central, "The Pandemic Special" marks the return of the series and will air for a whole hour! Granted, in a time of quarantine, an hour is more than justified considering that the world could definitely use a good laugh right now.
