Apple TV+ has debuted the trailer for its upcoming holiday special, Snoopy Presents: For Auld Lang Syne. This is Apple's first original Peanuts holiday special since the expanded partnership with WildBrain to bring exclusive Peanuts content to the streaming service.
Snoopy Presents: For Auld Lang Syne celebrates old friends and new possibilities as Lucy, disappointed that her Grandma can't visit on Christmas, resolves to throw herself the best New Year's Eve party ever. Charlie Brown, meanwhile, sets off to accomplish just one of his resolutions before the clock strikes midnight.
The trailer for Snoopy Presents: For Auld Lang Syne sets up a heartwarming and emotional story, mixed with classic Peanuts humor, that I'm sure will teach us all a very important lesson in the value of friendship and hope. And we could all certainly use some more optimism and hope in the midst of the ongoing pandemic. The special is directed by animation veteran Clay Kaytis with a script he co-wrote alongside Alex Galatis and Scott Montgomery.
Snoopy Presents: For Auld Lang Syne will debut on Apple TV+ on December 10. The streaming service is also home to numerous other Peanuts specials which you can watch at any time, including "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown," "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving," "A Charlie Brown Christmas," and "Happy New Year, Charlie Brown."
