It has been 50 years since man first step foot on the moon and now Snoopy is hoping to become the first dog to do so. That's essentially the premise of
Snoopy in Space, a new original
Peanuts series coming to Apple TV+ later this year.
Just in time for the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing (July 20, 1969), Apple TV+ has released the first teaser trailer for
Snoopy in Space. The upcoming series follows the adventures of Snoopy and his tagalong, Woodstock, as they attempt to become astronauts.
Set to Strass' iconic
The Blue Danube, the clip shows Snoopy floating through space before being pulled back down to Earth. Snoopy's goal of becoming an astronaut may be a dream right now, but he's clearly fixated on making that dream a reality. As for Charlie Brown, he simply wonders why he can't have a normal dog. Also seen in the clip is Peppermint Patty and Marcie, who's sporting a shuttle hat made from tinfoil.
