The third season, which has six episodes in full, will include five original songs. The trailer for the new season can be seen here

Dreamwork’s Trolls: The Beat Goes On! is based off of the popular Dreamworks animated film Trolls, which was an instant hit when it debuted in theaters back in 2016. The Netflix series begins where the film left off and depicts the shenanigans of Queen Poppy, the leader of the Trolls, the Snack Pack, and Branch as they undergo adventures in Troll Village.

The official synopsis of season 3 is as follows:

“Poppy, Branch and all of Troll Village are back in all new hair-raising adventures in season 3 of DreamWorks Trolls: The Beat Goes On! While Branch must learn the ancient Trolls martial art of “hair-jitsu,” Smidge tries to impress her new crush, the village “critter-narian,” and DJ Suki sets out to stage the most awesome party ever.”

In anticipation of the new season, Netflix has also released a few clips from season 3, which are entitled Fluffleberry Cake Heist and The Imposter.
