Since the iconic and long-running franchise began, Scooby-Doo has featured a plethora of special guests. For the first time ever though, an upcoming
Scooby-Doo animated series will entirely revolve around the premise of featuring celebrity cameos.
A brand new trailer was recently released (via
Boomerang Official) for
Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?. It's a bizarre upcoming series in which Mystery Inc. will team up with comedians like Wanda Sykes and Ricky Gervais in one episode and Wonder Woman and Sherlock Holmes in another.
This new trailer reveals that the show will premiere on Boomerang's streaming service in just a week's time on June 27th. Episodes will be rolled out weekly until the season finale on September 19th.
Beyond the four guests that we've already mentioned; here's a list of some other well-known people and characters that
Scooby-Doo and Guess Who? will feature: Weird Al Yankovic, Kenan Thompson, singer-songwriter Sia, NBA star Chris Paul,
Family Matters' Steve Urkel (voiced by Jaleel White), and even Batman (voiced by Kevin Conroy).
