Nickelodeon has released a "making of" video for the upcoming animated series Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. While these sort of videos typically feature comments from those who have worked on the series, the video instead shows us a side by side comparison between the initial art sketches and how they eventually look when translated to the television screen.

Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will premiere on September 17, 2018. A trailer for the upcoming season, which offers an updated take on the classic heroes in a half shell who "discover new powers and encounter a mystical world they never knew existed beneath the streets of New York City," was released at SDCC last month. Additionally, Nickelodeon has released the first full episode for free online, which you can watch right here.

Despite having not yet premiered yet, Nickelodeon has already renewed Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for a second season. Production is slated to begin this fall.
