The highly anticipated fourth season of Rick and Morty kicked off almost two weeks ago. On Sunday, the second episode of the fourth season made its debut.

"Old Man and the Seat" predominantly followed Rick as he sets out to discover who's responsible for taking a crap in a toilet that's supposed to be exclusively used by him. Eventually discovering the culprit, this subplot ends on a more somber note — to say the least. Jeffrey Wright guest starred in this segment as said culprit.

As well the episode followed Rick and Jerry as they attempt to thwart an alien race responsible for creating a nefarious dating app. Beth and Summer come to blows on account of said app. This subplot featured the guest voices of Taika Waititi and Sam Neill — the pair played members of the romantic alien race.

The YouTube channel New Rockstars has taken it upon themselves to scour the entire episode for Easter Eggs, references, cameos, and callbacks. You can check out the 12-minute video below as the host explains how this episode parallels the "Pickle Rick" one from the third season and theories about the backstory of Rick's peaceful toilet world.
