Nintendo and Game Freak have delivered with their latest Nintendo Direct presentation, which focused in its entirety on the upcoming, and highly anticipated Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield.

The presentation starts off with a new trailer that gives us a better look at the Galar region, some of its brand-new Pokémon introduced in this game, some Pokémon and Gym battles, and some very interesting giant Pokémon battles like we've never seen before.

An interesting aspect of Pokémon Sword & Shield is that different Pokémon will appear depending on location and weather conditions, which makes exploring the Galar region a whole lot more encouraging; adding some replay value to the game unlike anything the series has offered until now.

According to the presentation, an interesting phenomenon exclusive to the Galar region causes Pokémon to grow in size called Dynamax, and players will be able to take advantage of this new feature once during each fight, although there is a catch: the Dynamax transformation can only be used for three turns.

There are definitely a lot of things for fans of the long-runnin Pokémon series to get excited about, and they will finally be able to get their hands on this brand-new adventure when Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield release, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch, on the 15th of November.

Check it out:

Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield will be set in Galar, an expansive region with many environments—idyllic countryside, contemporary cities, thick forests, and craggy, snow-covered mountains. The people and Pokémon live together in this region, and they’ve worked together to develop the industries here.

Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield will be available for the Nintendo Switch on the 15th of November.
