If you are one of the trainers out there who has been looking to add a "Rogue Monkey Mythical Pokémon" to your line-up - look no further. The recently revealed Zarude is just that and represents dual types of Grass and Dark and will soon be making its way into the Pokédex via the Nintendo Switch titles Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield.

It was already announced that these titles would be receiving two DLC packs in the form of The Crown Tundra and The Isle of Armor - something celebrated with the advance release of Galarian Slowpoke. Now, however, Trainers who enjoy playing these titles have even more to look forward to as the latest Mythical Pokémon - Zarude, the Grass/Dark Dual-Type Rogue Monkey - has recently been revealed.

While we are able to learn much about the creature itself from its typing and the video below, we unfortunately do not know how it will be obtainable. The only thing we know for sure is that this will not be a creature that Trainers can nab during normal gameplay. When we find out more, we'll be sure to share all the details with you.

What do you guys think about Zarude? Excited to add it to your line-up? Sound off in the comments!

Mythical Pokémon discovered! We’ve confirmed the existence of Zarude, the Rogue Monkey Pokémon. When fighting, it swings around using trees and their branches, attacking relentlessly with its sharp claws or any other means it has. Its quick wit helps it excel in battles.

Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield are currently available for Nintendo Switch.
