Yet another game has been added to the
Pokemon franchise. The Pokemon Company has announced (via
Kotaku)
Pokemon Rumble Rush, mobile game that is made by Ambrella. It's available on Android and iOS devices.
While the game is new, its series is not. The
Pokemon Rumble series sets players the goal of collecting chibi-versions of Pokemon which are scattered across multiple in-game islands. These islands also serve as the place wherein players will battle their Pokemon. The islands will be altered every two weeks as to keep the game fresh. Each update to the islands will introduce new Pokemon and challenges.
Originally titled "PokeLand,"
Pokemon Rumble Rush was initially showed off in 2017. Since then the game went dark, many even assumed it had been dropped altogether. Though the game's release date is uncertain, it's believed that it will release later today as it has already been released in Australia and New Zealand.
Free-to-play,
Pokemon Rumble Rush does feature in-game purchases.
