This Winter Niantic has chosen to add Generation V to their mobile game,
Pokémon Go. Having just had their most successful year with the game, they want to make sure trainers continue to log in so new creatures are always being added as well as shiny variants and different events to participate in.
Pokémon Black and
Pokémon White's Unova Region is called home by 156 Pokémon, which is an even higher number than the original Kanto Region had at 150. All of these new creatures allow Niantic the chance to add bigger groups of Pokémon into the mobile game at a time, and that's exactly what they did on January 10th.
More than a dozen new Unova creatures became obtainable on the tenth, which means trainers will have to find them via the wild, raids, from eggs, and even regionally. We listed the new Unova Pokémon that recently joined Niantic's game and instructions how to capture them below, so go ahead and take a look.
