Pokémon GO was released for mobile devices almost three years ago, and it still manages to hold on to it's popularity. In the time since the game's launch, there have been three teams, and those are Instinct, Valor, and Mystic.
Trainers are forced to pledge their alliegance to one of these three teams early on in the game, and they have always been stuck with the decision made. Fans have complained about this restraint, particularly those who want to gain the maximum traid and raid benefits you get with friends who might be on a different team. Now, Niantic is finally offering a solution to this problem, however limited it may be.
A new item called a Team Medallion was introduced into
Pokémon GO via an update yesterday. Trainers can snag these items from the shop for 1000 Pokécoins, which can be gained from leaving Pokémon to defend gyms, but are mainly meant to be obtained by players with real money from the in-game-store.
What do you think? Will you be swapping teams in the game, or are you holding on to your colors? Let us know below!
