Most events that are introduced in Niantic's Pokémon Go are tied together by some sort of theme. That doesn't seem to be the case with the latest event to be disclosed by Niantic to take place in March.
With no official name tied to it yet, this "mysterious" event is said to include a "Special Research story event" which could involve just about anything. As far as featured creatures go, Shelmet, Karrablast, and Nincada are hatching at a higher rate from 5km Eggs and the latter is appearing in the wild and the Eggs with the potential of being shiny.
The event will take place on Friday, March 20th. There are also Stardust bonuses for catching and hatching, but you can take a look at the full list for yourself below!
