If you count yourself among the players in Niantic's
Pokémon Go who enjoys the experimental events and bonuses that the developer has been implementing so far this year, we have a bit of disappointing news for you. It seems that Trainers will have to spend this week in the absence of at least two of them.
First of all, the Mystery Bonus Hour, which sees a special surprise bonus activated for an hour once a week that Trainers can take advantage. These bonuses can range but are generally similar to the types of things you see activated during a Community Day event or something of the sorts.
Players will also be spending this week without the Pokémon Spotlight Hour. This experimental event is something special as it hosts a surprise Pokémon each week without any prior announcement of who they will be and features them heavily for an hour, allowing Trainers the chance to stock up on candy for the pocket monsters and potentially evolve and power up their favorite creatures.
We don't know why the developer chose to pause these events, but it looks like they will be live again next week. What do you guys think of this temporary situation?
