How does Niantic choose the featured Pokemon for their
Pokemon Go Community Day Events? Is it based on cuteness, rarity, or overall popularity? Maybe they feature strong Pokemon to include the special moves. It's arguable that all of those are factors based on the Pokemon who have been chosen throughout the events of 2018, and now one final event this weekend is celebrating them all!
Pokemon Go's December Community Day Event is bringing back Beldum, Larvitar, Mareep, Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Dratini, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Pikachu, and Eevee - as they were all featured in the months of 2018. Players will be able to get the special move that was associated with each Pokemon in their month, but more than that - players will also get bonuses at different times per region.
Double XP, Double Stardust, and Double Incubator Speed are all special bonuses that are being rewarded during this weekend long event, and the following is when you will be able to claim those in your region.
-
Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India: December 1, 2018, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. UTC (GMT +0)
