Brickleberry creators Roger Black and Waco O'Guin are back with a new adult animated comedy series coming to Netflix -
Paradise PD. A new trailer for the upcoming series has been released, giving us our first look at the inappropriate, crude humor we can expect to see from the "worst responders" when the show premieres on the streaming service next month.
As one would expect in a show from the twisted minds of Black and O'Guin,
Paradise PD goes way beyond borderline offensive and is filled with over-the-top animated violence and blood, raunchy sex jokes, and all sorts of references to drugs, racism, and pop culture - which makes it a perfect candidate for the streaming service. Check out the trailer below.
The 10-episode season about
"a backwater Southern-fired, small-town police department" will premiere on Netflix on August 31. The show will feature veteran voice actors Tom Kenny (SpongeBob SquarePants), Gina Jabowski (Rick & Morty), Stanley Hopson (Aqua Teen Hunger Force), and Grey Griffin (Brickleberry). In addition to the trailer, we have some new stills for the show.
Netflix is no stranger to non-PC animated comedies as it is host to a number of series including,
BoJack Horseman and
Big Mouth. If you liked those, odds are you'll find some entertainment in
Paradise PD.
