TheCGBros are a YouTube Channel that curates the best of CG short films from around the world and presents them to everyone. That’s the case with For a Fistful of Toffees, which they describe as follows: “Grandma and Grandpa, a couple of old people, are trying to hold up the retirement home’s cafeteria for a fistful of toffees. They are imagining themselves as Bonnie and Clyde, a couple of handsome and ruthless gangsters.” Watch closely and you'll see visual references to the 1967 film featuring the couple, as well as the Spaghetti Westerns made famous by Clint Eastwood.
TheCGBros are Shaun and Bill Johnson, who say of themselves that they’ve been are the forefront of digital video entertainment since the 2011 debut of their YouTube channel. “Our videos,” they say, “delight millions across the world through compelling stories, incredible characters and cutting-edge digital animation and VFX.
