The '90s were a great time to be a kid. Times were simpler, television was better, and Nickelodeon was king of the cartoons with classics like
Doug, Rocko's Modern Life, and
AAAHH!!! Real Monsters. Well, friends, I have good news for you - most of those childhood favorites from Nickelodeon are now available through NickSplat, a new streaming video-on-demand channel from VRV and Nickelodeon.
VRV is AT&T-Time Warner's video streaming platform that offers a variety of shows, including "the best in anime, gaming, tech, cartoons and more." Channels include Crunchyroll, Funimation, Geek & Sundry, and a ton more. You can now add NickSplat to the list.
NickSplat features an impressive selection of nearly 30 of the network's most popular shows. And it's not just classic Nicktoons, either. Fan-favorites shows and sitcoms like
Clarissa Explains It All, Kenan & Kel, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Are You Afraid of the Dark? and lots more are also available. You can find a complete list of shows and seasons available on the channel
here.
NickSplat is available a la carte for $5.99 per month, or is included in the VRV premium bundle for $9.99. The bundle also offers additional channels like the aforementioned Crunchyroll and Rooster Teeth. Alternatively, Viacom also announced it will launch its own streaming service that will also include “tens of thousands of hours of content” from Nickelodeon, MTV, BET, Paramount Network, and Comedy Central. It's unclear how Viacom's service will impact this new VRV partnership.
