Nickelodeon To Release LEGO CITY ADVENTURES Computer Animated Series This June

Nickelodeon and The Lego Group have announced that a new CG animated Lego, slice-of-life comedy is set to be released on the kid's network this Summer. Watch the first trailer.

The Lego films and TV series have given fans ninjas, superheroes and master builders, but the upcoming Lego City Adventures cg comedy will follow the normal, average inhabitants of Lego City who are just trying to go about their normal lifes in their zany town.  Accompanying today's earlier announcement, was the first sneak peek at the series, which you can view below.

Lego City Adventures will premiere June 22 and has a confirmed initial episode count of 10-episodes.

In a press release, Jill Wilfert, Vice President, Licensing & Entertainment for LEGO Group stated, "LEGO CITY is our strongest evergreen property globally, and for the first time we are leveraging episodic content to establish characters and personalities that bring the city to life." 

Following the U.S. launch in  June, the series will be rolled out inernationally in the fall.
