There aren’t many cartoons out there that are LGBT focused, but things are slowly changing for the better. The latest of such cartoons is one known as The Bravest Knight, a series about two gay fathers.
For those who are wondering, the series is a fairy tale, and it seems to center around a Prince, a Knight who was a former pumpkin farmer, and their child. We're not certain what exactly the story will be about, but so far, it looks very promising.
Now, we understand the idea is the stream the first five episodes of the series on Hulu come June 21, which is merely less than a month away.
Note that the Bravest Knight story is based on a book called “The Bravest Knight Who Ever Lived.” The two fathers are of the mixed-race variety, and their daughter was adopted but was not sure when this took place.
This news came weeks after PBS revealed that a gay character was added to the popular kids' cartoon series, “Arthur.” Parents did not take kindly to the news, and as such, we expect a similar reaction with The Bravest Knight.
