Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon, the creators of
Rick and Morty, recently held a panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2019. There, the two showed off a brand new clip from the upcoming and highly anticipated fourth season of the irreverent animated comedy series.
Just the other day, it was reported that Taika Waititi (
Thor Ragnarok) and many more
celebrities will make cameo appearances in the upcoming season of
Rick and Morty. This new clip has revealed our first look at the popular director's character. His name is Glootie, he's purple with four eyes, and has an obsession with mobile apps.
The clip features the characters of Jerry (Chris Parnell), Morty (Justin Roiland), and Glootie (Taika Waititi). The former character appears to be having some regrets about the app that he's launched with the help of the latter. This is our first look at the fourth season of Rick and Morty and it seems to be just as comical as it's ever been.
Check out the new clip below (via
Adult Swim):
Rick and Morty is Adult Swim's most scientifically accurate animated comedy. Created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon, it catalogues the bizarre misadventures of a bored scientific genius/drunkard and his socially awkward grandson, Morty. Their exploits tend to have unintended consequences for Morty's dysfunctional family, especially his unfailingly mediocre father, Jerry. Watch Rick and Morty battle everything from interdimensional customs agents to Cronenberg monsters now.
The fourth season of Rick and Morty will debut on Adult Swim in November 2019.
