Netflix recently announced that it has ordered another twenty episodes of, The Simpsons creator, Matt Groening's newest animated series. Disenchantment debuted back in August with the half of its first season, consisting of ten episodes, though the reception to it was mixed, its second half would be making its way to us in 2019 regardless.

Now however the second season of the show will be releasing the following year, once again in portions. The first ten episodes of Season Two are set to debut in 2020, and the other ten in the following year.

Groening had this to say on the new, animated-comedy series' renewal: "We’re excited to continue this epic journey with Netflix. Stay tuned for more cranked-up suspense, infuriating plot twists, and beloved characters getting knocked off."

Set in the medieval fantasy kingdom of Dreamland, the series follows the story of Bean, a rebellious and alcoholic princess, her naïve elf companion Elfo, and her "personal demon" Luci. Disenchantment stars the voices of Abbi Jacobson, Eric Andre, Nat Faxon, John DiMaggio, Tress MacNeille, Matt Berry, David Herman, Maurice LaMarche, Lucy Montgomery, and Billy West.

What do you think of the news that Disenchantment will be getting a second season? What did you think of the first half of Season One?
