Ahead of its premiere on July 6, Adult Swim has released the opening credits for My Adventures with Superman.
The 30-second intro shows the Man of Steel flying through the skies of Metropolis before sharing a wink with the viewers at home. Clark Kent, Lois Lane, and Jimmy Olsen also make their presence felt, while we're treated to a first look at the villains who will target our heroes in this first batch of episodes.
It's unclear what the long-term plan for My Adventures with Superman is, especially as DC Studios is set to make future animated TV shows part of the new DCU. This obviously isn't Superman: Legacy's Kal-El, but there are still a couple of years to go before that movie is released.
Check out the opening credits in the players below.
My Adventures With Superman catches up with twenty-somethings Clark Kent, the bright and driven Lois Lane, and their best friend Jimmy Olsen as they begin to discover who they are and everything they can accomplish together as an investigative reporting team at the Daily Planet.
In this serialized coming-of-age story, we'll follow Clark as he builds his secret Superman identity and embraces his role as the hero of Metropolis - and perhaps the world. Lois, now growing into a star investigative journalist, takes aspiring photographer Jimmy Olsen under her wing.
All the while, Clark and Lois are falling in love, sharing adventures, taking down bad guys, stumbling over secrets, and discovering what it means to be Superman and Lois Lane.
Jack Quaid (Star Trek: Lower Decks) and Alice Lee (Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist) lead the voice cast as Clark Kent and Lois Lane, respectively. Ishmel Sahid, meanwhile, plays Jimmy Olsen and Brainiac will be brought to life by Michael Emerson.
My Adventures With Superman premieres on Adult Swim on July 6.
