Marvel is officially making its way to the adult animation medium with the stop-motion production of M.O.D.O.K, starring Patton Oswalt (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) as the titular character, more specifically named the Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing. The show is headed to Hulu on May 21st, which is just over a month away.
Not only does the show have the unique aesthetic of stop-motion, which separates it from other Marvel animated series, but it also has some massive names in the voice acting department. In addition to Oswalt leading up the cast, it was announced not long ago that he would be joined by Jon Hamm (Mad Men), Bill Hader (It), Nathan Fillion (The Suicide Squad), and more.
Hulu has now released a new official poster on which you can get a look at the awesome and fitting logo and a close-up look at the villain himself.
"World-class villain, suburban nightmare," reads the tagline. We know from the show's synopsis that this series will be centered around his home life after the fall of A.I.M (Advanced Idea Mechanics). We've included that for you below, along with the trailer.
