Minecraft: Story Mode is an episodic series created by Telltale Games, first distributed as a video-game and now as an interactive animated series aboard the streaming giant that is Netflix.
Three episodes of Story Mode are now available on Netflix - “The Order of the Stone,” “Assembly Required,” and “The Last Place You Look”. The final two episodes will release at some point in December. The series features the voice talent of Patton Oswalt, Catherine Taber, Sean Astin, and Melissa Hutchison.
Throughout the series, the viewer will be greeted by prompts of which they are able to interact with and thereby influence the direction of the ongoing narrative.
This endeavour serves as the final product of Telltale Games as they were hit with major layoffs a couple of months back - many of their series were cut short on the spot (such as The Walking Dead, which was amid its final season, and The Wolf Among Us' second season which was in-production).
