Nickelodeon has released a new trailer for Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, highlighting some of the villains our heroes in a half shell will be encountering this season. From the start, Nickelodeon has taken some bold steps in this reimagining of the fictional superhero team and the same goes for the villains.

The new trailer introduces some of the main villains, most notably Baron Draxum. As previously detailed Baron Draxum will be voiced by former WWE wrestler-turned-actor John Cena. The Chief Alchemist of the Hidden City, Baron Draxum is the self-proclaimed protector of all mutantkind and seeks to mutate humans into mutants.

Other baddies highlighted in this new video includes former celebrity chef Meat Sweats, the mutant earthworm Warren Stone, and the animatronic bear Albearto.

Season one of Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles premiered on Monday, September 17, on Nickelodeon. The network has already renewed the series for a second season with production slated to begin this fall.
