We have some great news for fans of the
Pokémon series, as Nintendo has recently revealed that they will be streaming a
Pokémon-focused Nintendo Direct next week.
As per the announcement, this
Pokémon Direct presenntation will be focusing on the highly anticipated
Pokémon Sword and
Pokémon Shield, and it will be streamed on
Wednesdey the 5th of June at 6AM Pacific Time.
Nintendo also revealed that the presentation will be nearly 15 minutes long, and it will be sharing a bunch of new information regarding the anticipated new entries in the long-running
Pokémon series.
Keeping in mind that the E3 will be taking place a week later, it is safe to assume that both
Pokémon Sword and
Pokémon Shield will be getting an official release date and may even be playable at this year's E3.
Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield will be set in Galar, an expansive region with many environments—idyllic countryside, contemporary cities, thick forests, and craggy, snow-covered mountains. The people and Pokémon live together in this region, and they’ve worked together to develop the industries here.
Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield will be available for the Nintendo Switch in 2019.
