Those of you who have had enough of The Simpsons will be glad to know that the iconic family was wiped out by Avengers: Infinity War villain Thanos during the couch gag in last night's episode.

Believe it or not, The Simpsons is currently in its thirtieth season and with most fans and critics agreeing that the show's best days are behind it, most of you would probably like to see FOX's First Family wiped out by the Mad Titan, Thanos.

During last night's episode, the couch gag brought the Mad Titan to Springfield and he wiped out all but Maggie (for reasons which will become clear once you watch the clip below).

A few months from now, The Simpsons will join the Disney family as a result of the merger with Fox. That means the show won't be going anywhere because the studio will no doubt have big plans to monetise the characters in terms of merchandise, theme parks, and possibly even another movie.

Do you think Homer and company deserved to be wiped out by Thanos ahead of his return in Avengers: Endgame? Let us know your thoughts on this Marvel-lous couch gag in the comments section.
