Over the course of eight movies (soon to be nine) and numerous spinoffs and TV shows, the Millennium Falcon has seen its fair share of action. Ol' reliable, the "piece of junk" we first saw in A New Hope has always been there for our heroes, though it usually requires a bit of "jump-start" to get going.
In a new animated teaser from Funko Pop, we see Lando Calrissian reunite with the ship he once owned. Even though it's a plastic animated version of the character, watching Billy Dee Williams' Lando ascent the ramp brings a warm feeling to the heart.
The heartwarming moment is interrupted by a warning siren indicating some sort of issue with the ship and forcing BB-8, D-0, Rey and Lando into action. Eventually they fix all of the issues that pop up and the Falcon takes off into hyperspace. It's a cute little short that delivers a dose of nostalgia before The Rise of Skywalker arrives.
The next time we'll see Lando with the Falcon will be in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, which flies into theaters on December 20.
