Square Enix's long-awaited
Kingdom Hearts III was finally released back in January, becoming an instant hit by getting praise from critics and players alike. This new entry in the series would bring Sora's story to an end; after almost 17 years since the first game came out for the PlayStation 2.
Due to the fantastic reception
Kingdom Hearts III had within its first month since release, Square Enix was quick to release an accolades trailer by the end of February; showing off all of the great reviews the game had been getting.
As it turns out,
Kingdom Hearts III has done so well that
it even managed to become January's best-selling game — in spite of it coming out on the 25th of January — alongside Capcom's critically praised, not to mention also long-awaited,
Resident Evil 2 remake.
Today, the toy box comes to life in this brand-new accolades trailer that has Sora, Donald, and Goofy fighting an army of Heartless. What's interesting is that the whole trailer was done using stop motion animation mixed with a few special effects for some of the weapons our heros wield, including the Toy Story Keyblade.
