Harley Quinn is stepping out of the Joker's shadow, as she'll headline a live-action Birds of Prey film, starring Margot Robbie in February 2020. However, just before the film's release, DC Universe will be releasing an animated Harley Quinn series in Fall 2019.
The 26-episode series will likely be split into 2-parts, but the first 13-episodes should dovetail nicely into the live-action film's premiere.
The series will be one of two Fall shows anchoring the DC Universe's fall line-up, alongside the season 1, part 2 premiere of Titans.
The DC Universe's other animated show, Young Justice: Outsiders, will be returning with
new episodes this summer.
