First PRIMAL Footage Teases Another Genndy Tartakovsky Masterpiece

Genndy Tartakovsky needed a little over 16 years to conclude the futuristic tale of Samurai Jack but hopefully, Cartoon Network and Adult Swim don't repeat the same mistakes with Primal.

Adult Swim has revealed that they have a new, half-hour animated series set to premiere this fall and it comes from the mind of Emmy-winning director Genndy Tartakovsky. Best known for Samurai Jack, Tartakovsky's credits also include Dexter's Laboratory, Star Wars: Clone Wars, Sym-Bionic Titan, and the Hotel Transylvania franchise.  His latest project definitely doesn't appear to be as kid-friendly.

The animated series looks to be quite bloody and brutal as it features the unlikely duo of a caveman and T-Rex trying to survive a lethal prehistoric landscape.

No other details have been revealed at this time but keep it locked to Toonado for future updates.  This one looks quite promising!

From the Emmy-winning creator of #SamuraiJack - Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal comes to #AdultSwim this Fall.  Primal features a caveman at the dawn of evolution. A dinosaur on the brink of extinction. Bonded by tragedy, this unlikely friendship becomes the only hope of survival in a violent, primordial world.
