Apple TV+ has really been bolstering its animated programming lately, especially following the announcement that the Peanuts would be calling the service their permanent home. Now, even more, new and unique children's shows have been joining the lineup that shows no signs of slowing.

Now, another new series that is geared towards preschoolers is coming from Dreamworks Animation (Shrek, How To Train Your Dragon). Doug Unplugs is a brand new series about a robot who wants to learn more about the human world.

Based on the children's book series Doug Unplugged by Dan Yaccarino, the characters from the book will be brought to life in a whole new way! A brand new trialer has recently released that features a lot of new footage that fans of the books are sure to enjoy.

Doug Unplugs tells the story of a young robot named Doug who senses there’s more to life than just the facts. While other robots plug in for their daily download, Doug unplugs and journeys into the human world with his best friend Emma to experience its wonders firsthand.
