From the 80s to the beginning of the new millennium, one of the most famous animators in history, Don Bluth, inspired a generation of children with films like An American Tail, The Land Before Time, and Anastasia. Since 2000, Bluth has not been in the spotlight with many new films; however, it looks like that is about to change!

In a time of 3D animation and various knew digital styles, Bluth has a dream to reignite another 2D animation renaissance. Rather than wait for the next great thing, he and animation Lavalle Lee are stoking the flames with the new company, Don Bluth Studios.

Promising to be very transparent, the company is planning to be interactive with its fans and keep everyone consistently updated on each step of their current projects through their official Facebook and Lavalle Lee's Youtube channel. The newest project, titled Bluth Fables, tells the story of nursery rhymes in storybook fashion and is going to be written, narrated, and drawn by Bluth himself!

The new short will be completely free and made solely for the fans, as the studio works towards bigger projects in the future. We would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!
