Comedy Central's South Park will be returning for a 22nd season on September 26 at 10 PM est/pst.  In addition, two fan events for the show will debut at SDCC next week.

Cartman’s Escape Room will challenge SDCC attendees to escape from one of Cartman's crazy schemes.  Groups of 10 will have a limited amount of time to solve puzzles that require extensive knowledge about South Park.  The escape room is free and will be open to the public at the San Diego Wine Center (200 Harbor Dr. #12, across from the Convention Center) from Thursday, July 19 through Saturday, July 21 from 9:30 a.m.- 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, July 22 from 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

The second events is South Park’s Member Berries Challenge, which will be inside the Convention Center at booth #23729.   It will take South Park fans inside a 3D replica of the iconic Member Berries episode where they will have to answer 3 trivia questions.  If they get them correct, they'll receive a limited edition Member Berry.  Get them wrong and Member Berry juice will come spewing down (Ponchos and protective goggles will be provided).

The last 5 seasons of South Park have all premiered in September and concluded in December so the reveal of a September 26 premiere date was somewhat expected.
