Tis the season to be a fan of the popular metal band Coheed and Cambria.
Not only did the band recently announce their S.S. Neverender tour which will include a bevy of guests such as Taking Back Sunday, Polyphia, Thrice, just to name a few - but it sold out in less than three days.
Now the band - which is known for their storied concept albums and their canonical graphic novels - has released a new music video for their song
Toys which happens to be animated. This is what the lead singer had to say about the holiday video.
“I’ve wanted to ‘toy’ with a Santa story for some time. I guess, no better time than the present. And for Jolly Ole’ to decide if he’s naughty or nice? The president.” - Claudio Sanchez, Singer, Coheed and Cambria
The clip sees an orange-faced child ask to be made president until someone at the base of operations at the North Pole screws up (takes a bribe) and accidentally allows it to happen. When Santa finally discovers what has befallen the country - it's up to he and his trusty elves (and weaponry) to make things right.

Toys below!
The video for ‘Toys’, titled ‘An Unheavenly Christmas Carol’, follows the story of a spoiled young boy as he writes letters to Santa each holiday season asking to become president. After receiving what seems like hundreds of letters over the years, someone from the North Pole finally caves and grants him his wish, and from that very moment a terrible orange light is cast across mankind. Once Santa realizes what has happened, he must fix what has been done and take this orange menace down.
Coheed and Cambria's S.S. Neverender Cruise is currently sold out, but fans can sign up for the waiting list here.
