Playmates Toys has been the licensee of the
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for a long time, and that doesn't look set to change anytime soon. Word had recently broken that the toy company was planning to bring new figures inspired by the series
Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to San Diego Comic Con, and now we have some information and photos of those to share with you guys.
Each of the
Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figures will retail for $30 and will be available at the San Diego Comic Con from Thursday, July 19th, to Sunday, July 22nd at Nickelodeon's booth, #4113. The Playmates figures are each individually sculpted and come in a protected "fifth panel window box" that will be placed in a 2018 SDCC box that features each of the turtles' respective names.
Each figure has thirteen points of articulation, while the height of the half-shelled heroes clocks in at 4.25 for the smaller Michelangelo, 4.75 for the largest, Raphael, and 4.5 for Donatello and Leonardo each. Not only do these figures include new core weapon accessories for each turtle, but there are also additional details, decoration, and accessories.
