Batman: The Animated Series was recently released on Blu-ray. To ensure that the renowned cartoon from the 90s is up to high-definition standards, the entire series was remastered.
Why the original version of the series looked phenomenal at the time it was released, in-comparison with a modern animated show it's quite blurry and discoloured. The remastered version fixes these problems, keeping true to its roots but updating it to the point at which is could almost rival a modern series - specifically aesthetically, because we all know it does storywise.
This new video from IGN pulls a Two-Face, with half of the screen consisting of the good-looking version and the other side.. less so. The side-by-side makes you appreciate the effort put in by the animators, both those who worked on the original version and those who were tasked with remastering it.
