In order to come up with the winners for the Best of 2019 list - Animation Magazine opened up voting for their readers between November 20th and December 10th to see how they would weigh in.
With seventeen categories to be voted on both films and television shows were featured, as well as animated shorts and the companies which made them. It shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone that
Rick and Morty won the spot for Best Primetime TV Series - beating out runner-up
Bob's Burgers which is another show that has a strong viewer base.
Meanwhile over on Netflix - the new series
Love, Death, and Robots has earned the top spot of a category for just that - Best New Animated Series. The show launched to surprisingly positive reviews with many fans wondering why studios hadn't delivered something similar sooner, and many more hoping to see this as the start of something new.
