The Animaniacs are back!
Animaniacs was an American animated comedy TV series that aired back in the nineties. Created by Tom Ruegger for FOX Kids, the series was produced by Stephen Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment in association with Warner Bros. Animation. It's Stephen Spielberg reviving the series for the modern era, as the renowned director serves as producer for the upcoming reboot.
The series will be a variety show, the same as it ever was, featuring zany skits and characters as well as a plethora of musical segments and human for kids and adults. The upcoming series is once again being produced by Amblin Entertainment and Warner Bros. Animation but this time for the Hulu streaming service.
Spielberg isn't the only returning name; songwriter Randy Rogel will also reprise his role. Rob Paulsen returns as Yakko and Pinky, Tress MacNeille returns as Dot, Jess Harnell returns as Wakko, and Maurice LaMarche returns as the Brain. Animaniacs will premiere on November 20th exclusively on Hulu. A second season is expected to premiere next year.
