Last year, Disney announced The Rocketeer. It's a Disney Junior animated series that's inspired by the popular comic book series of the same name by Dave Stevens. Now they've released an exciting, new trailer for their revamped take on The Rocketeer.

The show will follow a young girl named Kit as she takes on the mantle of The Rocketeer, a legendary superhero who can fly with the use of their jetpack. The Rocketeer is slated to debut in 2019 on the both the Disney Junior channel as well as Disney Channel itself — within a specified children's TV block.

Nicole Dubuc (Transformers: Rescue Bots) is attached as executive producer and the series is produced by Wild Canary. It's said that the series is aimed at children between the ages of two and seven. Every episode of The Rocketeer will be eleven minutes in length and feature an original song.
