The cast and crew of animated comedy series American Dad took to the stage at New York Comic-Con and held a Q&A in which they revealed there's a ton of new episodes on the horizon.

Jordan Blum and Parker Deay, producers of the show, revealed that there are a whopping 31 episodes on the way - which will begin being aired on January 28th of next year. Following the current season's remaining 9 episodes, the next 22-episode season will begin immediately. So, that is to say, that American Dad will run from January to October of 2019.

Blum joked, "That is a ton of American Dad to illegally download." Blum later mused that reaching the 250th episode of the show, which is part of the coming 31 episodes, "is pretty impressive considering our audience usually watches the show by getting high and falling asleep to it."

Are you looking forward to the upcoming season of American Dad? What do you think of the producers' comments?

American Dad returns to FOX on January 28th.
