Fans of
Rick and Morty will be thrilled to learn that a short video has been shared on the official
Rick and Morty Twitter account which gives a fun glimpse into the life of one of the show's most beloved a fan-favorite characters - Mr. Poopybutthole.
In the video, appropriately titled
Mr. Poopybutthole's Beautiful Day, fans see not only Mr. Poopybutthole, but they spend time with his family - seeing what his life with his wife and child is like. There is even a short cameo by Rick who arrives just to make sure that his friend is happy during the holiday season - which may seem out of chaacter for the self-proclaimed god-like being, but it is a welcome and wholesome clip that fans aren't likely to turn away.
The pixel-art style was created by Paul Robertson, and if you are a fan of the style we also included the video below which is an hour of lo-fi beats accompanied by
Rick and Morty pixel-art drawn by Robertson.
In 2017 Adult Swim released a video online called
The Poop in my Pants which gave us a closer look at the things that were important to Mr. Poopybutthole through his eyes as he flips through his memories in a scrapbook titled with the same name. Check it out in the video below.
In comparison, the new video,
Mr. Poopybutthole's Beautiful Day is a little shorter, but it is beautiful and will likely be welcomed by many this holiday season - spreading a little warmth in the coldest months of the year. Check it out for yourself below!
