Samurai Jack has had a rather interesting development throughout its iconic 5 season. The fifth season, in fact, took over 15 years to be made, and even then it was never really believed that the series would get the proper ending fans had been clamouring for.
Ever since Samurai Jack was brought back by Adult Swim, new life was breathed into the series, and fans simply can't get enough of it, which is why it was such a perfect moment when it was announced that a brand-new video game would be released later this year.
Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time was announced in February of this year, and it was revealed to be releasing for home consoles and PC at a later date. Last month, developer Soleil and Adult Swim officially announced that the game would finally be launching on Friday the 21st of August.
Now that the game has finally become available today, Adult Swim has released a rather interesting launch trailer for Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time. While most launch trailers would show off a tonne of gameplay in order to get players excited for the release, Adult Swim has decided to release an interview with The Scotsman voice actor John DiMaggio.
What's unique about this particular launch trailer is the fact that, while there is still some gameplay being shown, it is DiMaggio himself who's telling players a bunch of reasons why they should all play Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time, while also taking the opportunity to reveal some interesting details about his work on the game, and the whole interview is just wholesome in itself.
