Rick and Morty fans were delighted with what Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland had to deliver with
Season 4 and its first five episodes until they realized the extended wait prior to the release of
Episode 6. What's more frustrating is that there wasn't even a mid-season premiere release date announced so there has been no clue as to when Morty and his grandfather will be back in action.
This has led fans to look for clues in any place possible, and with the series on hiatus and no hints coming from the co-creators or Adult Swim, it looks like the best chance at getting a hint at what's to come is in the current crossover promotion ad between
Rick and Morty and Pringles. A clip was released teasing the crossover but they are expected to feature for several minutes during Superbowl 2020.
When
Season 3 was released there was no warning. Instead, the first episode played on April Fool's day over and over and then fans had to wait for the following episode for months. It's possible that Adult Swim either drops the episode tomorrow as a surprise (it
is a Sunday) or at the very least, fans may get a release date announcement if not a clue as to when it might be.
Do you think we'll get an announcement during the Super Bowl as to when the show will return to Adult Swim? Check out the
Rick and Morty Pringles ad ahead of super Bowl 2020 below along with the
Season 4 trailer and let us know your thoughts in the comments?
Stack Pringles. Make endless new flavors. Stack Pringles. Make endless new flavors. Stack Pringles. Make endless new flavors. This is not an ad. [ad]
