INTO THE UNKNOWN: MAKING FROZEN 2 Behind-The-Scenes Documentary Series Coming to Disney+ on June 26th

Into the Unknown: Making Frozen 2, a behind-the-scenes documentary series all about the making of the animated sequel, will be available to stream on Disney+ from June 26th.

Frozen 2, the sequel to 2013's Frozen, debuted back in November. The animated movie earned success in both the critical realm as well as the financial. Overall, the sequel earned $1.4 billion at the box office and stands as the second highest-grossing animated film of all time — after The Lion King (2019).

What's more, Frozen 2 was the third highest-grossing film of 2019 and is the tenth highest-grossing film of all time. Though the sequel didn't earn an Academy Award nomination in the Best Animated Feature category, it did earn one for Best Original Song — specifically for Idina Menzel's performance of "Into the Unknown."

On that note, there's a behind-the-scenes documentary series coming to Disney+ soon that's all about the making of Frozen 2. It's called "Into the Unknown: Making Frozen 2" and consists of six episodes. Earlier today, the official Twitter account of Disney+ (@DisneyPlus) announced that the original series will be available to stream from June 26th, 2020.

Of course, the animated sequel itself is already available to stream on Disney+ in a variety of places including the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the Netherlands — find out more on that here.
