The Dark Knight has seen countless adaptations over his 80-year existence, but perhaps none are more well-regarded than Batman: The Animated Series. It's fitting then, that for the Caped Crusader's 80th birthday, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and TT Games have added DLC to LEGO DC Super-Villains inspired by the hit animated series.

Seeing as how LEGO DC Super-Villains is all about the baddies in the DC Universe, the new Batman: The Animated Series Level Pack also has an emphasis on the show's villains. The DLC adds seven new characters "whose origins were famously modernized in the series."

For just $2.99, you can play as The Phantasm, Captain Clown, Man-Bat, Mad-Hatter, The Joker, and Harley Quinn. All of these villains had pretty prominent roles in the series. Man-Bat, for example, was the first villain to appear in the pilot episode, while the iconic Harley Quinn made her first appearance in Batman: The Animated Series when she and Joker attempted to plot against Commissioner Gordon.

A full breakdown of each of the villains in LEGO DC Super-Villains' Batman: The Animated Series Level Pack can be found over on Comic Book Movie.

Also included in the DLC is Batman as a playable character as well as a brand new level inspired by Gotham City.

Batman: The Animated Series Level Pack is already included with the Season Pass (available in the LEGO DC Super-Villains Deluxe Edition). Alternatively, you can purchase it for $2.99. LEGO DC Super-Villains is now available for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
